The United World Wrestling events portfolio offers various opportunities for cities who wish to host one of the most thrilling and one of the oldest Olympic sports! Wrestling events are easy to organise and host-city friendly due to the limited venue requirements.
The biggest event in the sport of wrestling is the United World Wrestling Senior World Championships. It is the culmination of our work, from grassroots to elite, and brings unique features and excitement to its host cities.
In addition, there are also many other exciting events of different scales that you can host, all of which will bring unique benefits to your city.
Here you will find information about what hosting a wrestling event can do for your city, our events catalogue, as well as the bidding process for all our events.
To learn more about hosting a wrestling event, you can also complete the "Organising a Major Sport Event" course at UWW Academy .
